Звуковая инсталляция в подземных водных резервуарах посреди Пренцлауэберга – огромных лабиринтах с невероятной акустикой.
Ощущение западни, растерянности, беспомощности.
Как будто отголоски страшного прошлого... Мурашки по коже, когда узнаешь, что в 33-м году в подвале стоящей неподалеку водонапорной башни был устроен концлагерь. В нем без суда и следствия убили несколько десятков человек.

The two former reservoirs on both Diedenhofer and Belforter Strasse, which were long closed to the public, lie at the heart of the singuhr’s exhibition activities: two mighty subterranean brick buildings, labyrinthine, cool and, despite their immense size, hidden under the water tower park. Built neither for people, art nor for lingering a while, but instead specifically for supplying the city with water, the listed vaults now offer space for new, multi-disciplined art. The reservoirs’ special atmosphere, their spectacular acoustics, their very own climate, the impressive architecture of the brick walls, as well as their varied history have provided a source of inspiration for artists around the world since 2007.
